By Trevor Stynes and Amy Tennery MILAN, Feb 21 (Reuters) - Defending champions Finland swatted aside Slovakia to win the men's Olympic bronze medal on Saturday, scoring four goals in the final period to see off the bronze medallists from four years ago in a 6-1 win at Santagiulia arena.

Finland won 6-1 in the bronze medal game against Slovakia at the 2026 Winter Olympics. It now has five medals in the six Olympics using NHL players.

Hungary and Slovakia threatened to stop electricity supplies to Ukraine unless Kyiv restarts flows of Russian oil.

Through six games in the tournament, Fehervary picked up four assists, six penalty minutes, six shots and a plus/minus rating of minus-4. The 26-year-old was tied for the Team Slovakia lead in points by a defenseman throughout the Games and also ranked second in ice time among all Slovak skaters, averaging 21:02 minutes per game.

It is the last day of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics with the closing ceremony taking place after the final few gold-medal events. 15 medals will be handed out on Day 16 of the Games, starting with the postponed women's freeski halfpipe final along with the women's cross-country skiing 50km mass start.
