President Trump on Friday cast doubt on the future of his new press secretary, Katie Zacharia, on Friday, saying he had a discussion with her just before leaving for a campaign rally in Georgia.

Katie Zacharia has been fired after five days as President Trump’s new press secretary, according to people familiar with the matter.

Earlier in the day, Trump told reporters that he had advised Zacharia to “reconsider” the job, saying the role may not be right for her, as cited by The New York Times.
